Lenita Henderson, Board Treasurer, is a native of Durham in the beautiful state of North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from North Carolina Central University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Theology. An experienced Program Manager in the field of Information Technology, she holds a 27-year track record of excellence supporting Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies across the global corporate sector. Lenita currently specializes in managing assets and delivering world class services for high-touch government accounts. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about building strong client relationships, driving operational excellence, and ensuring reliable solutions in technology. Beyond her professional work, she is committed to empowering women and families to thrive financially, emotionally and spiritually to positively impact generations. Focusing on spiritual and financial breakthrough, freedom and abundant living according to the promises of God found in Deuteronomy 7:9 which admonishes us to, “Know therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God, who keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations”.

Marilyn Waddell (not pictured). Board Member, is a passionate advocate for helping individuals reach their potential and finds deep fulfillment in supporting others’ success. She served 26 years with the Upward Bound Program at the University of North Carolina, guiding low-income and first-generation students as Assistant Director, Academic Coordinator, and, in her final year, Program Director. Marilyn was a dedicated mentor and educator, helping students and families build confidence and life skills—support that she now extends to other communities, including the elderly. Marilyn holds a B.A. in Business Education/Business Administration from North Carolina Central University and completed graduate work in School Counseling. She has been married to Vernon Waddell for 30 years and is the proud mother of a son, Alex, currently attending UNC-Greensboro. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and caring for her mother. Marilyn remains committed to uplifting others through encouragement, collaboration, and compassionate service.

Jimmy Wright, Board Member, is a graduate of Augusta State University, President of the Carl's Kids Foundation and Agent to Carl Jackson. He is a former entrepreneur, a visionary, is instrumental in connecting people and is a giver in the community. Jimmy has worked as a supervisor at UPS, has coached Cresset Christian Academy Middle School basketball and is a former college athlete. Married to Deidre, the love of his live for 40 years, together they are the blessed parents of Donovan who, jus like his dad, is well-known for inspiring others to do better and to be better.

Tania Stokes, Board Member, is a dedicated healthcare professional with over 15 years of experience supporting families through the complexities of the healthcare system. She holds a degree in Communications from West Chester University and serves as Disaster Coordinator for her church conference, leading emergency response for 180 churches. A devoted wife of 30 years and mother of four sons, Tania is deeply committed to strengthening families and communities through compassionate service.
